Did Nutritional Deficiencies Cause Your Current Health Crisis?
Nutrition Response Testing (NRT)™ was created by Freddie Ulan, PhD, DC, CCN. NRT is based in the science of Applied Kinesiology and is an exact and science-based analysis of the body’s health that has been used for hundreds of years.
All bodies are run on electricity. This electricity is in the form of the nervous system and runs all our muscle function, as well as our organs, respiratory system, heart rate, etc. In Nutrition Response Testing, we are testing the body’s own neurological reflexes over organs, and using acupuncture points for feedback. Nutrition response testing is a study of how these reflexive points on the surface of the body relate to the state of health and flow of energy in each organ and bodily function. This testing will indicate the energy or lack of energy in your organs, tissues, or bodily functions.
With NRT we use a “hands on” approach to contact these reflex points, while we pulse an extended arm muscle. If the reflex being contacted is “active” or under stress, the nervous system will respond by reducing energy to the extended arm, the arm will weaken and drop. This drop signifies underlying stress or dysfunction, which will affect your health.

Nutrition Response Testing (NRT)™ is also a complimentary service to other alternative health practices such as Chiropractic and Acupuncture work. It’s common knowledge that patients are not holding their chiropractic adjustments, and Chi remains imbalanced due to the lack of nutrients and genuine replacement parts in our foods required for proper and long term healing.
Once we define the weakened and stressed areas, we can use Designed Clinical Nutrition to nutritionally support and strengthen those areas, helping the body to regain balance and wellness.
NRT™ is not used to diagnose or treat any specific disease or condition. We are using the wisdom of the body to nutritionally support and correct imbalances by designing a nutrition program using high quality supplementation and real food options.
